Tania Lefort - Clinical psychologist, BLOIS (Loir-et-Cher)
Professional experience
I'm a psychologist specializing in clinical psychology, based in Blois, Loir-et-Cher. After completing my Masters in Clinical Psychology in the UK, I gained valuable experience working in the clinical psychology team of an English hospital. This experience enabled me to deepen my understanding of psychotherapy. With two years' experience in approaches such as analytic and psychodynamic psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapies, ACT as well as mind-body approaches including relaxation, mindfulness and meditation, I have developed a wide range of skills to support my patients.
My therapeutic approach is integrative, providing practical and dynamic tools to bridge the gap between understanding and action to enable you to take charge of your own recovery.
I am committed to the ethical principles of psychologists, to an empathetic and compassionate approach, while guaranteeing absolute confidentiality.
Perfectly bilingual, I conduct consultations in French or English.
Therapies
Cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) is a psychotherapeutic approach that focuses on developing skills.
It aims to help people better manage their thoughts, behaviors, and emotions to effectively solve life's challenges. CBT has proven to be effective in a wide range of problems, such as depression, anxiety disorders, addictions, relationship difficulties, and eating disorders. Numerous research studies confirm that CBT leads to a significant improvement in functioning and quality of life, putting it in a better position than other forms of therapy or medication.
Psychodynamic therapy is inspired by psychoanalytic theory, but it is less intensive and shorter than traditional psychoanalysis.
Psychodynamic therapy takes a holistic approach to individual living, aiming to help people understand the sometimes unconscious motivations behind their difficult feelings and behaviors.
Its objective is to allow you to recognize and understand negative thoughts and repressed emotions, in order to resolve psychological conflicts and improve your quality of life, self-esteem and interpersonal relationships.
This form of therapy is particularly suitable for people who are capable of introspection and want to understand themselves better. Studies have compared the effectiveness of psychodynamic therapy to that of antidepressant medications, showing very positive results.
